Tom Gaughan joins Main Stay’s Board of Directors
Please join us in welcoming the newest member to Main Stay’s Board of Directors, Tom Gaughan. Although new to the board, Tom is hardly new to Main Stay. He has been a dedicated volunteer in the adaptive riding program for the past 6 years. Tom started out as a sidewalker and is currently a horse handler. His quiet, calm demeanor in the arena helps both horses and riders stay focused and safe.
Tom brings a strong financial leadership background to the board which will be a tremendous asset to Main Stay. He has long career in the financial services industry and was Managing Partner and majority owner of a successful brokerage company which specialized in hedging futures for the dairy industry. Although he sold his company to a publicly traded firm over 10 years ago and “retired”, Tom continues to do consulting work.
We are so excited and grateful to have Tom join our team. His passion for Main Stay’s mission combined with his financial acumen makes Tom an ideal addition to the board of directors.
