It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we share the passing of our dear volunteer, Cathleen Hampton. Cathleen was a dedicated Main Stay volunteer who provided excellent support to our riding program as a horse leader over the years. She had such a giving, kind spirit that she always shared with everyone at the farm, 2 or 4 legged. She was part of the Main Stay Family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but the memories of her will live on.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with her family.

In lieu of flowers, her family has requested donations made to Main Stay in her memory.

Afterglow

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one, I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave behind when day is done.
