In this workshop you will learn practical, easy-to-follow techniques and get hands-on experience starting your own seeds. Each participant will take home their newly planted seeds — perfect for kicking off your spring garden with confidence!
What we will cover:
- Essential materials for starting your spring garden
- Seed starting indoors
- How to start indoor seeds
- How to check if your seeds will germinate
- Winter sowing techniques
- Hardening off new seedlings
- Preparing your beds: in-ground vs. raised beds, and no-till options
- Garden planning basics
- Companion planting
- Choosing the right plants for your space and climate
