Through groundwork-based sessions facilitated by a PATH Intl. certified instructor and supported by trained volunteers, participants will gain confidence, safety awareness, and a meaningful connection with our horses. Groups are kept small—typically 4 to 6 participants—to ensure a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Participants will learn essential horsemanship skills, including:
- How to safely approach a horse
- Haltering and grooming
- Leading and building trust
- Understanding equine behavior and body language
Learning the language of horses and the skills to safely interact with them lays the groundwork for a lifelong partnership. Whether you’re just curious or considering future riding, this is a great place to start your journey.
