Welcoming Marcy and Bob to Main Stay’s Board

Main Stay Therapeutic Farm is pleased to welcome Marcy Piekos and Bob Horrell to its Board of Directors. Both bring valuable nonprofit board experience, strong community ties, and a commitment to Main Stay’s mission.

Marcy Piekos

Marcy has been deeply involved in McHenry County for many years. She recently retired as Executive Director of Leadership Greater McHenry County (LGMC), where she led nonprofit leadership development efforts. During her tenure, LGMC and Main Stay collaborated on a number of initiatives.

Bob Horrell

Bob is a retired engineer and an active community volunteer. He already gives his time and talents to Main Stay in a variety of ways, from program support to community outreach, bringing firsthand knowledge of the farm and its mission to his new role on the board.

Marcy and Bob also share a love of animals and an appreciation for the human-animal connection. We are grateful they have chosen to serve Main Stay and look forward to working with them as board members. They join a team that is dedicated to our mission to enrich mind, body and spirit through powerful connections with horses, animals, and nature—we are grateful to have them lead Main Stay into the future!
